Inside the app
iMaistro stores settings, history, projects, and saved calculations locally on your device. This version has no account system, cloud synchronization, advertising SDK, or analytics service.
Calculations run on the device. Entering a measurement does not send it to a server.
Your backups
You control when to export a backup and where to keep it. A backup can include project names, notes, and calculations. Treat it like any other file containing your work. Copies you put in another app or cloud drive follow that service’s policies.
Local storage can be lost when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Your device’s own backup settings may also affect whether application data is included in an operating-system backup.
On these websites
The website saves your selected light, dark, or automatic color theme in your browser’s local storage. The interactive slab example performs its calculation in the browser. The site does not include an analytics or advertising script.
The hosting provider necessarily receives web requests and may process ordinary connection metadata, such as IP addresses and request times, under its own service policies.
Store links and other websites
App Store and Google Play links open the respective store. Those services have their own privacy policies. External documentation links take you to their publishers’ websites.
Permissions
The basic calculation workflow does not need access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or Bluetooth devices. Future features that need additional access should explain the purpose before requesting permission.
