If a number looks wrong

  1. Check each input’s unit. A thickness of 4 inches is different from 4 feet.
  2. Check whether the result includes an extra allowance or rounding.
  3. Read the helper’s assumptions. For example, a stair layout must state whether the upper floor is the final tread.
  4. Compare the steps with a simple hand calculation before using the result.

If saved work seems missing

Confirm that you are using the same installation and device. This version does not sync between devices. If you have a JSON backup, use the import workflow described in Saved work & backups.

Reporting a problem

A useful report includes the app version, device, exact inputs and units, the result you expected, and the result displayed. Remove private project details from any example you share.
